Resin Wize Van

Here at Resin Wize, we provide economical solutions, not just for domestic clients, but for commercial clients too. Resin is an incredibly versatile material that is robust, practical and aesthetically pleasing. Whether as an option for a forecourt, a private road or as a choice of paving that is visually more appealing than tarmac, resin is a material that has much potential.

The beauty of resin is that it offers so many ways to customise its appearance. If you’re after a specific colour scheme or finish, you’ll be hard-pressed to achieve the same eye-catching effect with tarmac, concrete or asphalt. Better yet, resin is a highly affordable option that is far cheaper to install when compared to the options mentioned above.

What’s more, resin bound, and resin bonded surfaces are virtually maintenance free, and the non-slip properties associated with the rough finish make them safe to walk on. Able to withstand even the harshest weather, resin is ideally suited for public walkways, forecourts, car parks, roads and more. This makes resin a perfect choice for most commercial applications.

At Resin Wize, we strive to offer the very best resin surfaces around and welcome any and all commercial inquiries. To learn more about what our team can do for you, continue reading or give us a call now.

How is a Resin Surface Installed?

The method of installation will differ depending on whether a bonded or bound surface has been chosen. For a bound surface, aggregates are mixed with the resin, applied to the surface and trowelled over for a smooth, flawless finish that is also porous. For a bonded application, the resin is applied first, and the aggregate is then scattered over the top before the resin has a chance to set.

Any loose stones are then swept away leaving behind a coarse finish that provides extra grip preventing slippages from occurring. Because of this, bonded surfaces are usually better suited for use in paving and roads.

What Sort of Commercial Surfaces Can Resin be Used For?

Resin is a highly versatile material that is suitable for virtually any commercial application. As it provides a natural form of filtration, it is particularly useful for use in roads, car parks and forecourts where the resin stone can help to filter out oils. It’s highly attractive properties also make it an excellent choice for paving, courtyards and recreational areas.

What is the Weight Limit of a Commercial Resin Surface?

Commercial surfaces are always built to withstand more than your average domestic surface. This is because the amount of weight placed on these surfaces is usually far greater. Our domestic resin driveways, however, are just as tough as our commercial resin surfaces. With a weight limit of up to 30 tonnes, these surfaces are built to take the strain.

Whether you choose a resin bonded or resin bound surface, you can rest assured that all work will be completed by our team of ex-civil engineers. Their experience and expertise make them the most proficient choice for commercial surfaces which are designed and built to last. We go to great lengths to lay all commercial surfaces with longevity in mind.

Our resin paving, for instance, is easily able to withstand heavy footfall. Plus, our resin-built roads, forecourts and car parks are designed to stand up to use by even the largest HGVs. Thanks to the durable nature of resin, these surfaces are designed to take a lot of punishment.
